We are looking for talented young dancers with a passion for classical ballet

The Royal Ballet School holds auditions across the UK and internationally.

Applications for our full-time and Mid/Senior/Advanced Associate programmes open in October and close in January. Auditions take place in the Autumn and Spring Terms. All auditions are for courses which start the following September.

Applications for our Junior Associate programme open in January each year and close in March. Auditions are held in the Summer Term and are for courses which start in September.

All applications received by the closing dates will be offered an audition class.

The cost of an application is £65.

Due to the ever-changing situation and challenges associated with COVID-19, we made the decision to conduct all preliminary auditions by video.

This applied for White Lodge and the Upper School, as well as auditions for Mid, Senior and Advanced Associates.

Due to this change, the new closing date for all applications and videos was 5 January 2021.

Read the full message from our Artistic Director, Christopher Powney, about the changes.
